Story2Sleep, an exclusive sleeping bag for kids was invented by a six year old boy named Kevin. The product has gained huge interest among investors as well as buyers from across the globe and is expected to be launched in August 2015.
December 11, 2014: Six year old boy Kevin has designed and developed the Story2Sleep product and app, confirmed a representative of the company. The exclusive sleeping bag will be available with a range of original characters along with detachable books containing stirring adventures and sudden events.
Sources confirmed that the idea behind creating the Story2Sleep bag came to Kevin, while he was leaving on a camping trip and wanted to take his favorite books with him.He cautiously attached the books to his sleeping bag to ensure that they are not lost. The same basic concept is carried in the product as well and designed in a way that will help children readers enjoy the fun filled story easily at home or outside.
Speaking to media, Michaella Brown the creative director from the company said, “It is very surprising that a six year old boy has created a product like this. Story2Sleep SleepingBag is certainly one of the most innovative products for children among those that came up in the past few years. Bringing child inventor Kevin’s idea to life has been a great experience.” She further added, “These awesome books are intended to aid in developing the interest of your children in books, cultivating literacy skills, engaging the imagination, and unlocking the window into an astonishing dream world.”
Story2Sleep has created a buzz before its launch by getting immense support from private investors worldwide. Recently the project collected 1.7 million dollars from private investors. In addition, reports also suggest that Story2Sleep has joined hands with Berenstain Bears to include their books with the sleeping bag.
