Diamond Bar, CA. MarKim Technologies, LLC has just released a new project called “WatCharger,” the wrist wearable Apple Watch charging band.
With the launch of the new Apple Watch will come the increased need for ways to charge our electronics on the go. A whopping 84 percent of respondents in New York City reported having experienced low battery anxiety compared to 71 percent, 70 percent and 64 percent in Boston, Chicago, and Philadelphia, respectively. This problem of low battery anxiety will not be going away anytime soon. The Apple Watch has features to keep us all connected, all the time, constantly consuming and exhausting our juice.
The WatCharger is the solution to this problem. It is a wearable charger to ensure you are never without backup. Traditional method of charging on the go has been a battery pack with a separate cable. For most smart watches, this method also had the user take off the smart watch in order to charge. WatCharger enables a full charge of the smart watch while the user is wearing and continuing to use the smart watch.
The project is now up on Indiegogo for everyone to see and be a part of. This campaign is showcasing the project in a unique way. The backers are able to get an inside look at how this idea came to realization and become part of the conversation on its future. Anyone who has a passion for innovative technology will be interested to see how this works.
The founder, Sam Kim, says, “We’re confident that these efforts will bring to people something they didn’t even know was missing. It will seamlessly fit with the Apple Watches look and feel.”
“We’re really excited to be launching our campaign”, says Co-founder, Ron Marcello. “With simple features and an intuitive platform, this is something anyone can use to jumpstart their Apple Watch.”
