December 12th, 2015: Making its name in the used robots industry is no easy feat in a dynamic industry as that of the robot sale and purchase. However, these complicated impediments have not been able to waver the company’s outlook and commitment to excel at what they do. Reaching a far out customer base with its refurbished industrial robots, the company has now extended its arms to welcome businesses that may want to dispose their industrial robots – Used Robots Trade is buying them!
The company deals in specialized robots that are handy for industries that have large scale operations that require mechanized robotic regimes to make the most of their production process. Currently, the company is dealing in welding, and laser robots that it refurbishes and sells out to business owners, but they have kept their doors open for sellers who may wish to sell robots other than the ones mentioned above.
We asked a company representative about the strategy behind this new feature, to which he replied, “Our main business is buying used robots, restore them, and sell them out. For many businesses, affording a new robot is often a hefty expense – let’s face it, robots are expensive; but with the used robots’ industry flourishing, it has become easier for most entrepreneurs to invest in them. For us, finding buyers never came as a trouble. The issue has always been looking for sellers who wish to sell off the industrial robots they do not need anymore. So instead of us going out in search of them, we thought it would be better to let them approach us.”
Of course, Used Robots Trade has had a tough time taking decisions about how to make this policy work best; with time and consideration, the team unanimously decided to put up the offer online on their website. It made the process easier and simpler for both parties.
Elaborating on the feature, the company representative continued, “We knew we could never access a market as widespread as the internet anywhere else. It was a smart move, and the response has been great. All sellers have to do is fill in a short online form with the details and a photograph of the robot they wish to sell, along with their contact details, and we get in touch with them. Of course the pricing and negotiations are subjective, but we are mostly able to strike a deal.”
The interview with representative makes it look like the strategy has been working well for the company. However, what interests us more is their next move to give their business the boost it needs.
